The Princess of Wales, Kate, has revealed that her husband, William is already teaching his kids another language – Spanish.

The Prince of Wales, William, is one clever father!

Kate revealed that George and Charlotte can count to one hundred in Spanish, if not beyond. The latest revelation was made during an engagement at a farm, where the Duchess spoke to a group of children who were learning about the daily running of a farm.

Chatting with Sayanna, twelve, the doting mum told the little girl that her own children, who have a Spanish nanny, Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo were learning the language. “She said she is trying to teach Charlotte Spanish and said her son George can count up to a hundred in Spanish already,” said Sayanna.

Prince William is the most impressive linguist in the royal family and allegedly knows at least five foreign languages. Albeit not a requirement, learning a foreign language is easy for Prince William & common in the British royal family.

Just like his kids, Prince William started learning a foreign language at a very young age. This is because his father, Prince Charles, wanted him to be fluent in the Welsh language before becoming the Prince of Wales. While some members of the royal family know one or two languages, the Duke of Cambridge speaks five (and possibly more). Duchess Catherine also claimed that Prince William also knows a little Spanish. If that’s the case, the future king knows six languages (including English).

Not only in language, but Kate’s Spanish nanny Maria has also been influential in dressing her young charges. For Charlotte’s first official portrait, the Princess was again dressed head-to-toe in Irulea. Maria had picked out the clothes before Charlotte was born and given them as a present.

Prince William has always been vocal about the importance of education and the benefits it can bring. His decision to teach his children Spanish is a reflection of his commitment to providing them with a well-rounded education.

Furthermore, This move by Prince William is not only beneficial for the children but also for the country as it will enable them to communicate with Spanish-speaking countries in a more efficient way. The future King’s fluency in Spanish will also help to strengthen the relationship between the United Kingdom and Spain.

As the future King of England, Prince George’s fluency in Spanish will undoubtedly serve him well in his role as a global leader.
