The roots of the British royal family are its centuries-old rules and traditions. The traditions provide a platform on which the royals stand.
And without these traditions, the royal family won’t be able to stand out among the masses.
According to a special report, the Duke of Cambridge and the Duchess of Cambridge allegedly broke an important royal tradition on their wedding night.
Wondering what was that important tradition? Well, according to our research, British royal couples traditionally leave immediately for their honeymoon on the day of their wedding. However, Prince William and Kate Middleton didn’t do this. Instead, they opted to spend their wedding night in Buckingham Palace.

Their wedding ceremony was televised, much like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s. And so, it’s likely that William and Kate were exhausted after a long day of festivities and celebrations.

But, there is more to the story: The Duke of Cambridge, William was also set to return to work soon after his nuptials. So, it wasn’t really possible for the newlyweds to jet off on their honeymoon.
At the time, Prince William was a search-and-rescue pilot, but he has since made the move to focus wholly and solely on his royal duties instead.
In fact, the newlyweds didn’t leave for their honeymoon until ten days after their wedding: Ten days after their wedding, they headed off to a private island in Seychelles.

Although Prince William and Kate Middleton technically broke royal tradition, their decision doesn’t seem to have had any negative ramifications.
