When Parker Bowles was a young woman, she had a warm relationship with Queen Elizabeth. Camilla’s husband, Andrew was Queen Mother’s godson. The couple was often guests at Buckingham Palace.

As The Royal Family started mending and focussing on their future, Prince Charles and Camilla quietly continued their romantic relationship. The Queen believed it was high time and that they should go public. So then they formalized their relationship by attending Camilla’s sister’s 50th birthday party together in 1999.

Relations between Queen Elizabeth and Camilla continued to improve. It was proved when Queen Elizabeth included Camilla in her Golden Jubilee celebrations. She surprised everyone when Queen Elizabeth gave Prince Charles and Camilla permission to marry in 2005.

In these past 12 years, it has become crystal clear that The Queen values Camilla as a good match for her son. Also as a stable, resilient, and well-liked member of The Royal Family. As we all know, when it comes to The Queen of Britain, her actions speak louder than her words.
