Where is Prince Louis? Why we don’t see or hear much about the youngest royal?

Prince Louis

Prince William and Kate Middleton’s children each serve up a dose of cuteness every time we see them. But we don’t get to see Prince Louis, very often.

Many royal fans are wondering where Prince Louis has been.

Prince Louis, who is currently fifth in line to the throne, was born on April 23, 2018. And just like George and Charlotte, he made his debut on the front steps of St. Mary’s Hospital. But since then, only a handful of photos of him have been released. We haven’t really seen him out in public with his parents much at all.

So, where in the world is Prince Louis?

On May 5, 2018, William and Kate released pictures of Louis and his sister Charlotte with a message thanking fans for all the kind words they received following his birth. The proud parents also thanked everyone for the birthday wishes sent to Charlotte as the photos were posted just a few days after her third birthday.

Louis was not present at Prince Harry’s royal weddings.

On May 19, 2018, Louis’ uncle, Harry married Meghan. George and Charlotte were in the wedding party and many were hoping that their little brother would make an appearance at the church as well. However, his parents arrived without their youngest child. And the reason for that was he was too small to attend a wedding with so many people around.

On October 12, 2018, Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank tied the knot. Fans were almost certain they would finally see Louis at this royal wedding. Again, he wasn’t present and we can only assume it was for the same reason. Up until that point, the last time anyone had seen photos of Louis was at his christening in July.

Why we don’t hear much about the prince?

The reason we don’t hear much about Louis is because of all the other news going on with the royal family. Since he was born, stories about the two royal weddings, celebrations leading up to Prince Charles’ 70th birthday, and the announcement that Meghan and Harry are expecting their first child have dominated the news.

With all that going on the little Prince hasn’t really had a chance to steal headlines of his own yet.

However, we are certain, that it won’t remain the same for long now. He will in time get a chance to steal the headlines. As for when we’ll see him again, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge usually like to share pictures of their children when they hit milestones or on special occasions.

The holidays are just around the corner. And so, we’re guessing we may see Prince Louis when the family releases their 2018 Christmas card.
