Only a few people might have noticed that Prince Charles made a speech on Harry’s wedding that made everyone cry.
Well, the royal wedding went according to the plans except for Prince Charles’ speech which wasn’t planned.
What we saw on our televisions was just the ceremony that took place at the Chapel. There were many things we didn’t see including the private lunchtime that the royals had. Well, the media and the paparazzi was not there at the after-party. But, some of the guests have come forward and shared just a tad about what all happened there.
Well, when the time came for speeches, the father of the groom was the first one up for it. Prince Charles’ youngest son got married to the love of his life, and he couldn’t be prouder. According to some reports, the Prince of Wales gave a heartfelt speech during the couple’s lunchtime gathering at St. George’s Hall.

Prince Charles also apparently noted how delighted he was to walk Meghan Markle down the aisle. But, this could be because he never had a daughter of his own. And, walking Meghan down the aisle would have made one his dreams come true. But the truly emotional part was when the Prince of Wales reportedly ended his speech saying: “My darling Harry, I’m so very happy for you”. Everyone ended up in tears at that particular moment.
And if that wasn’t enough, Prince Harry also made a speech to his lovely bride.
According to some other reports, the Duke of Sussex, Harry told his wife, Meghan, that they make a “pretty good team”. And, that he couldn’t wait to spend the rest of his life with her. He also said that she has “navigated everything with such grace”.
We all know that Charles certainly can’t replace Meghan’s father. But, it does look like he is trying to take care of Harry and Meghan the best he can. We wish the lovely couple “all the best” for many more years to come.
