Prince Harry and Meghan Markle plan to marry next Saturday in St. George’s Chapel. It is in the grounds of Windsor Castle.
And so, Queen Elizabeth has given her official consent that is hand-written.
It is known as the “Instrument of Consent”. A document in which Her Majesty officially recognises the marriage is illuminated on vellum by one of a panel of scrivener artists.
What does the consent consists of?
The notice’s detailed design includes a red dragon, the heraldic symbol of Wales. Also, the floral emblems for England, Scotland and Northern Ireland: the rose, thistle and shamrock. It also includes two golden poppies, the official flower of Meghan’s home state.
The Instrument of Consent is sealed with the Great Seal of the Realm. It is attached to the foot of the document by woven cords sealed within the Great Seal itself.

Plans after the wedding nuptials are over.
After the royal wedding, the royal couple plans to leave Windsor Castle in a carriage for a roughly two-mile procession. They will be travelling along the High Street through the town of Windsor before returning to the castle.
