Prince Harry and Meghan are all set to marry each other and start their new lives together. Yet, there are people who think this royal marriage won’t last forever.
Outspoken feminist, Germaine Greer predicts that Meghan Markle will ‘bolt’ to get away from ‘horrible’ royal family.
Germaine Greer weighed in on the relationship of Meghan and Harry in an interview recently. She made a fairly grim prediction of the fate of the royal marriage.
The biggest challenge for Markle will be “just putting up with it”.
Greer, who is a staunch republican, has lived and worked in the UK for over 50 years and has formed strong, mostly negative opinion on the royal family.

Greer, who has often spoken of Princess Diana, calling her ‘needy’ and ‘too dependent on the love of men’, did not think Meghan is a feminist.
Just like Diana, Greer says Meghan will soon feel oppressed and stifled and even bored by the royal family.
“It’s nearly always a question of the non-royal running for the hills just to get away from the whole thing. It’s really horrible and anachronistic. No one wants Meghan’s children as they will be too far removed from the line of succession”.
“I think it would be pretty modern of them not to want children at all. Although, I wish them all the best. Hope they have a wonderful life together. Let’s just hope they’re in love, because If they’re not? It’s going to be totally unbearable”.
Why the former American actress would give up everything for Harry unless she was sure the relationship would last?

Greer said: “Why would a girl born in poverty marry a man with 53 million quid? I can’t think of a single reason, really”.
“Stay with it for as long as it lasts, why not? But, you don’t have to stay for the bad bit. Just be ready to go when it gets bad. Just say, ‘That’s it. Gave it my best shot. I’m outta here now’. I honestly think she’ll bolt. I mean, she bolted before”.
