While Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s royal wedding preparations are underway, Queen Elizabeth has welcomed her into the royal family in the best possible manner.
The wedding preparations also include what role the bride-to-be’s family will play?
According to recent reports, Meghan wants both her parents to be involved in her royal wedding nuptials.
According to Sarah, a royal biographer:
“Meghan has asked her father to walk her down the aisle, just like every other bride’s father does. She does want him included and she indeed wants to uphold the tradition”.
Meghan’s father, Thomas Markle is retired lighting director who separated from Meghan’s mother, Doria Radlan, in the year 1988. He has, in recent years, moved to a quiet seaside town of Rosarito, Mexico. The reports say, he has since then remained relatively off-the-grid.

Meghan has a very strong and close bond with her mother.
Talking about Meghan’s mother, the two appear to have a very close relationship and are frequently photographed together. Reports say Radlan will also have a significant and important role that very day.
Meghan is observed to be gushed about her mother in a recent candid interview. She said: “We can just have so much fun together, and yet, I’ll still find so much solace in her support. That duality coexists the same way like it would exist in a best friend”.
One of Meghan’s family members will not be getting an invite.
While her mother and father will be there on her big day right beside her, supporting her, a family member missing from the wedding would be her half-sister, Samantha Grant. According to a source:
“Samantha is a wild card. The two have had a ‘strained’ and a ‘bitter’ relationship in the past. She has no filter and she’s not at all afraid of the repercussions of speaking her mind”.
Meghan will send an invite to whomever she wishes, and the guest list will include most of her family members and friends.

When the couple announced the happy news, Meghan’s parents issued a joint statement, stating: “We are incredibly happy for Meghan and Harry. Our daughter has always been a kind and a fun-loving girl”.
“To see her union with Harry, who shares the same personality, is a source of great joy for us as her parents. We wish them a lifetime of happiness and we are indeed excited about their future together”.
