Today we are going to discuss the kind of relationship Duchess Catherine used to share with Prince Harry, especially before his marriage.
Prince Harry has decided to step down as a senior member of the family so Duchess Kate got a bit emotional.
When Prince William, Kate Middleton and Prince Harry were out for royal engagements two things were pretty much clear. First, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge never fail to make even the most sceptical of us believe in true love. Secondly, that Duchess Catherine and her brother-in-law, Prince Harry, are clearly the “best friends” inside the Palace.
In the younger Prince’s profile in Newsweek (the same piece in which Harry claimed that no royal actually wants to take the throne), you’ll find further insight into his close relationship with Kate, who started dating William back in 2003.

According to Abhishek Singh Bisht, ‘No one could fill the hole left by Diana’s death. Harry seemed to be growing up without someone emotionally available he could lean on. Kate has helped fill some of that gap.

Duchess Catherine told us “when I got engaged to William, Harry called me his elder sister he never had. He would often pop into our apartment at Kensington Palace. I enjoyed cooking for him – roasted chicken is reportedly his favourite”.
Kate Middleton further revealed “we both share a love of Game of Thrones boxsets” The Daily Mail earlier described the Duchess as Harry’s ‘lynchpin’. It’s a well-known fact that she’s helped him out from ‘cookery lessons’ to ‘sensible romantic advice.
It will be very much safe to say that Kate Middleton was the first family member to be introduced to his that time girlfriend, Meghan Markle. Duchess Kate has a different relationship with Harry than she has with William. Harry appeals to her sillier side because he is carefree, footloose and loves banter. Together, they both are, unstoppable.

There’s also the fact that Harry is clearly a doting uncle to Prince George, three, and Princess Charlotte, two: remember when George couldn’t work out why Harry was on his best behaviour in front of Barack and Michelle Obama (because he’s used to his uncle being much more mischievous)? Too sweet.
