The Queen’s always rocking in the ‘Ultra Violet’ colour dress. Always the trendsetter, Queen Elizabeth has a jump start on celebrating Pantone’s colour of the Year.

The Queen welcomed the UK’s aircraft carrier, HMS Queen Elizabeth.

Despite the overcast weather in the UK, she brightened up the occasion in a luminous and elegant purple dress. The very same day “Ultra Violet” was revealed as the Color of the Year. The Queen was spotted decked out in the purple hue from crown to toe.

Her Royal Highness was in Portsmouth for the ceremony of HMS Queen Elizabeth, her namesake ship, which is the most powerful vessel ever built for the Royal Navy. She stood out in a bright purple coat, which featured purple velvet buttons up the front, and purple velvet round the coat collar and sleeve cuffs.
