The pictures of Prince Harry’s first day in school have been resurfaced online recently.
The picture shows sweet similarities between Charlotte’s first day in school and her uncle’s.
When Princess Charlotte kicked off her academic years with big bro Prince George walking her in at prestigious Thomas’s Battersea, we all recalled another royal family moment — a throwback photo of Prince Harry’s first day at school.
Now, let’s zip back in time to the late ’80s when Harry took his first official stroll into Wetherby School. In the throwback photo of that day, Harry is also wearing a sharp uniform with red piping. And just like Charlotte, Harry had a built-in support system in his big brother. Even better, that big brother was obviously Charlotte’s dad, Prince William. This feels very full circle, no?

Diana, Princess of Wales, accompanied both Princes William and Harry for their first days at Wetherby Preparatory School in Notting Hill, London, holding their hands as she led them up to the school entrance.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry appeared in good spirits as he arrived for his own first day in 1989. The experience was no doubt made a little less daunting as he had his big brother on hand for support, with the brothers looking adorable as they posed in their matching uniforms outside their preparatory school.

The Prince had started at London’s Jane Mynors’ nursery, before the pre-preparatory Wetherby School, which was followed by the Ludgrove in Berkshire and then Eton College, where he graduated in 2003.
