The Duchess of Cambridge has revealed that her eldest son, Prince George, is a huge fan of swimming.
Kate was talking to the former world and Commonwealth swimming champion James Hickman when she revealed it.
Duchess Catherine further admitted that she often takes George swimming. James later said: “[Kate’s] been swimming with him. She said he loves the water and he grabs things to splash with.” James, who is from Manchester and won the world championships five times, met Kate at a SportsAid charity a few years ago.
Speaking to ITV, James added: “Maybe he could be the next royal to take part in the Olympics, and if he was in swimming that would be incredible.” George’s godmother Zara Phillips won silver at the London 2012 Olympics in the team eventing discipline.
