Duchess of Cambridge—also known as Catherine—has sustained an enviable figure over the years, all thanks to her uncompromising diet and exercise routine.


Like her sister-in-law Meghan, the Duchess of Cambridge has stayed fit and healthy throughout her pregnancies.



It includes the likes of three pregnancies in 2013 with Prince George, 2015 with Princess Charlotte and 2018 with Prince Louis. It’s completely alright for a woman to gain some extra weight when she’s pregnant. Unless, of course, you’re Kate Middleton. During her third pregnancy, Duchess of Cambridge maintained her absolutely healthy figure — and then she had no trouble dropping the weight post-pregnancy.

Sure, she may be royalty, but when it comes to pregnancy she’s just like everyone else: Having weird cravings and spats of morning sickness. How exactly does she do it? We take a look at how this royal stays in shape when she’s expecting.

During the initial stages of her pregnancy, it was revealed that Duchess Catherine suffers from hyperemesis gravidarum. It is a severe type of morning sickness. Dealing with severe morning sickness isn’t new for her. Kate Middleton had to deal with severe nausea and food hypnotherapy with her pregnancies in the past.

According to SELF, the duchess tries to strictly follow and abide by strict plant-forward diet. The diet specifically includes avocados, berries, and oatmeal. These simple foods help soothe her severe morning sickness.

But like most pregnant women, there are always a few odd cravings to deal with, and the Duchess is no exception. At one point, the royal sent her husband Prince William to grab a jar of pickles for her. She specifically asked that the pickles be cut into thin slices and served on well-done toast.

The Prince sent for this specific order right away, only to find out that the kitchen didn’t even have pickles to serve! Nevertheless, quick delivery was made and the Duchess’ pregnancy cravings were restored.

Kate Middleton reveals that whenever she can she absolutely enjoys all of her favourite food items. Occasionally she joins Queen Elizabeth for some of her meals as she’s always enjoying these delicious 13 foods every single day.
