Kate Middleton’s three kids did not spend Christmas together with their cousin Archie Harrison.
But it seems Duchess Kate hopes that 2020 will bring plenty of play-time for her kids and their baby cousin, Archie.
According to Us Weekly, a source close to the royals could reveal that the duchess, 37, is “hoping that in the new year, the cousins will spend more time together,” noting that her three kids “adore” Archie, but “like most children, they’re easily distracted and resilient.”
Parting from the old tradition, Prince Harry and his family decided not to spend Christmas with William, Kate and the rest of the family at Sandringham. However, they decided to celebrate the occasion in Vancouver Island, Canada.

None of us truly know how much time the Cambridges and the Sussexes spend together when not in limelight. According to their representative, the choice to travel abroad for Christmas had nothing to do with family issues. It was rather a desire and personal decision that the couple took for themselves
“Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are spending private quality time in Canada,” said the representative. He also added that “the decision to base themselves in Canada reflects the importance of this Commonwealth country to them both.

Earlier an official statement from Queen Elizabeth’s office at Buckingham Palace says “Discussions with The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are at an early stage”. “We completely understand their desire. The couple wants to take a different approach, but these are complicated issues that will take time to work through.”
Queen Elizabeth is infuriated about the way Duke and Duchess of Sussex have handled this. The couple only raised the issue a week ago. The family said they would work to find a way to help them facilitate what they wanted.
