It seems that Catherine is following in Diana’s footsteps, as she too is a fan of Diana’s favourite classic sneakers.
Princess of Wales, Catherine is known for her love of shoes.
Catherine has always walked out in style, whether was in her go-to nude high heels by upscale high street retailer L.K. Bennett or her navy blue pumps by Jimmy Choo. Even her casual stamps are chic; the tennis-obsessed princess adores her vintage Superga heels, which sell for under £50. The Superga 2750 Cotu Classics are widely accessible and go with a variety of styles, including jeans, fitted trousers, and sweet little summer dresses.
The Superga 2750 has been manufactured for many years and is a timeless classic. The shoe, which was first created for tennis professionals, has since evolved into a wardrobe essential for stylish women all around the world. The shoe is constructed of canvas and has a rubber sole that has been vulcanised, making it comfortable and long-lasting.

It has recently come to light that Catherine wasn’t the only royal to love these to-go-to classics – the late Diana, Princess of Wales was also a big fan of the brand. She even wore the very same trainers as Kate but in navy blue – while on a visit to Angola for a Red Cross mission in 1997.

Diana wore a wonderful outfit for the occasion which consisted of jeans, a matching navy Armani blazer with striking gold buttons and a pastel blue shirt. Princess Diana was often spotted wearing her Superga trainers while out and about with her children. She particularly loved the white pair, which she paired with everything from jeans to floral dresses.
One of the reasons why the Superga 2750 has remained so popular is its versatility. It can be dressed up or down, depending on the occasion. For a casual look, it can be worn with jeans and a t-shirt, while for a more formal occasion, it can be paired with a dress or skirt.
This isn’t the only time that Kate and Diana’s looks have mirrored one another. Prince William’s wife wore a striking tanzanite necklace in March when she visited The RCOG in London. The blue stone necklace is a piece from royal jewellers G Collins and Sons and has been worn by Kate on a number of occasions over the years.

It also matches Kate’s engagement ring, which of course once belonged to her late mother-in-law. Kate’s late mother-in-law also was a huge fan of matching diamonds and she wore a necklace very similar to Kate’s, as well as matching cubic zirconia oval cut stone earrings which Kate later wore to Wimbledon in 2011 after Prince William gave them to her as a treasured gift.
