Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor enjoyed a fun play date with his royal cousins last summer.
Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle tagged their royal children along to watch Prince William and Prince Harry play in a polo match in July 2019.
At that time it was the first event royal fans got to see baby Archie with his cousins in public. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge had already seen their nephew shortly after his birth in May 2019. But the couple decided to wait a while before introducing baby Archie to their three children. It was the first time the Cambridge children got to meet him properly.
Archie snoozed in his mother’s arms throughout the match. Prince George was seen checking in on his baby cousin at various points. George, wearing a green polo shirt, was spotted chatting to his aunt Meghan. Perhaps one day we’ll see the royal cousins playing in matches together, just like their fathers?

Well, it’s not very unusual for royal kids to meet their cousins much later. Back in the year 2014, George wasn’t introduced to his cousin Mia, the daughter of Zara and Mike Tindall, until she was two months old.

Kate Middleton had her hands full with a then one-year-old Prince Louis, who was often spotted running around the field. The Duchesses managed to keep their cool in the shade during the match. Kate opted for a pink patterned dress and Meghan looking effortlessly chic in an olive green linen dress.
There came a point where Prince Louis could be seen taking mum Kate’s sunglasses off her head. Louis provided lots of comedic moments at the match, as he toddled towards his aunt and baby cousin, wearing Kate’s Ray-Ban.

Kate could be seen laughing while chatting with her sister-in-law, as Louis poked his tongue out and waved.
Meghan seemed delighted by her lovely nephews! The Sussexes might be living in LA now, but Archie is quite close to his cousins, being just one year younger than Louis. Charlotte could be seen standing with Kate, Louis, Meghan and Archie during the match. She and George were also spotted playing football on the sidelines.
