Prince William and Kate temporarily broke up while the pair were still at their University. And an interview has resurfaced of William, being quizzed on the split.
The footage shows Prince Harry and William with pop star, Joss Stone.
They were answering questions during an on-stage press conference at Wembley Stadium ahead of Princess Diana’s Memorial Concert.
The charity event, named Concert for Diana, was held on July 1, 2007.
The show was hosted by the Duke of Cambridge and the Duke of Sussex. They have helped to organise many of the world’s most famous entertainers and singers to perform.
Proceeds from that concert went to Prince of Wales, Diana’s charities, as well as to charities of which William and Harry are patrons.
Among the star-studded acts, was singer Joss Stone. He joined the royal brothers to answer some questions from journalists ahead of the show.

In an awkward exchange, a reporter asked William: “Tell us about the friends you’ve got coming along to the concert. I understand Kate and Chelsy will be joining you. How are things going with her”?
William, who looked slightly mortified replied, saying: “I’ve got lots of friends coming. Everyone’s going to be there on the night and it’s going to be a great night”.
Prince Harry then said: “Well avoided, brother”.
The Duke of Sussex could hardly contain his laughter.
Well, it is hard to imagine the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge apart. As the happy couple have now been married for seven years and have three children together.

But there was, in fact, a short time when the pair decided to call off their relationship. Speaking about their break-up in their engagement interview, both William and Kate admitted it was for the best.
The Duke of Cambridge said: “We were both very young. It was at university and we were both finding ourselves and being different characters and stuff. It was very much like trying to find our own way”.
To this, Kate added: “At the time, I wasn’t very happy about it. However, it actually made me a stronger person. You find out things about yourself that maybe you hadn’t realised”.
