Royal Shock: Why is everyone talking about Queen Elizabeth II dying?

Well, there was post, doing rounds of social media which predicted that the Queen of England was going to die on January 5, 2019. It made many fans worried.

It was first uploaded last month by a Reddit user but the user’s account is now deleted.

However, the other users saved screenshots of the deleted comments and they discussed about Her Majesty actually dying yesterday that is on 5th January. The post was made on December 26 and it garnered huge attention.

The original post was made by a Reddit user called Beefy_Cabbage.

The post was upvoted 50,000 times and attracted about 7,000 comments before that particular account was deleted. Many users created memes of Her Majesty’s death and said if it actually happened, the original user would either be the star of ‘creepy predictions’ phenomenon or be hunted down by British Intelligence service, MI6.

A Reddit user called BigTicketKAT wrote: “This is one of the posts that’s going to be a part of YouTube video called ‘creepy unexplainable Reddit posts'”.

While the Queen is alive and healthy, we can’t help but wonder what would happen if Her Majesty actually dies.

So first off, the death of Queen Elizabeth II will prompt a 12-day period of national mourning. Union Flags will be flown half-mast throughout the country. Books of condolence will be opened at embassies across the world. The Prince of Wales will have to be ready to succeed his mother.

Her Majesty’s body will be taken to Parliament. There, she will lie in the Westminster Hall. Her body will be kept their for a few days. That will be done so as the nation could pay their tributes to the longest-reigning monarch. The accession council will convened at St. James’ Palace to formally declare Prince Charles the King.

This will lead to some big changes.

In the Palace, Prince Charles will be asked to swear loyalty to Parliament and Church of England in front of the council. In turn, the Houses of Parliament will be recalled to swear loyalty to him. Then the words to the National Anthem will be changed and new postage stamps and currency will be created to reflect Charles’ ascension to the throne.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Queen Elizabeth is alive and healthy. It was a fake news which was going around on social networking sites. Her Majesty is safe and is spending her time in Sandringham, peacefully.
