Diana’s former butler revealed that there was a ‘very rude’ royal, who used to smoke cigarettes and blow the smoke in front of Queen Elizabeth.
The royal family is encouraged not to smoke, as it is not only frowned upon by the Queen, but the habit also comes with serious health risks.
However, over the years, a few members picked up the habit, including Prince Harry. He is said to have quit following the help of his new wife, Meghan Markle. Princess Eugenie and Camilla have also been spotted enjoying the occasional smoke. However, there was one royal in particular, who was always seen with a cigarette in her hand.

“She would stand there with her cigarette and her holder and blow the smoke into my face. I didn’t really mind that but it is very rude to do that. But Margo was a certain creature, born at a certain time. You just could not change her”.
Royal historian Kate Williams also had some things to share with the public.

According to the documentary, Princess Margaret was not only a rebel but was quite a “feisty” character. After Princess Diana’s infamous interview for BBC panorama in 1996, Her Majesty’s sister was reportedly incredibly upset with Diana for humiliating the royal family.
Things started to change after that.
While the two lived together under the same roof at Kensington Palace, they were reportedly involved in a long “cold war”. Royal author Andrew Morton said:-
“Margaret would turn over any magazine that had Diana on the cover. She told her staff not to talk to anybody from Diana’s apartments. It was a cold war. Ironically, whenever Princess Diana had a boyfriend, often in the trunk or the boot of her car, Margaret would be there behind the curtains watching”.
