Royal Baby Update: This is what Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s baby will be like.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s firstborn can be anything he wants to be. As the baby will be free from the pressures of being the heir to the throne.

Meghan and Harry’s baby is due next spring, but speculation about his or her future role in the family is already mounting.

Firstly, the baby will be seventh-in-line to the British throne. And so, this will give the child an unlikely chance of ever ascending to the throne.

According to royal author, Ted Powell:-

“It is very unlikely the Sussex sprog will succeed to the British throne. The good news is that the new baby can be anything he wants to be. It’s highly unlikely he will have heavy royal duties”.

“So maybe Sussex sprog will be a furniture maker, like Lord Snowdon, or an equestrian, like Zara Tindall. Prince Harry has close ties with the armed forces, so a son might well be drawn to the military”.

Mr Powell added a girl could even take after her mother’s career.

He continued: “If at all she’s a girl, perhaps she will follow her mother into the acting world. A royal film star would be box office. Or, she might take up a modelling career”.

“No matter which path the baby will choose, the freedom he will benefit from, will help him make a mark in the world”.

Kensington Palace announced the pregnancy of Meghan on Monday.

The palace wrote: “Their Royal Highnesses are very pleased to announce that the Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in Spring 2019”.

“Their Royal Highnesses very much appreciate all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share their happy news”.

The happy news was welcomed with “delight” by Harry and Meghan’s closest relatives.

The statement added: “The Queen, Duke of Edinburgh, Prince of Wales, Duchess of Cornwall and Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted for the couple. They were able to congratulate them on Friday at the wedding in person”.
