Meghan is almost done with her pregnancy. So, we will all be seeing the baby Sussex for the first time. And, the mother-to-be is enjoying herself to the fullest.
The Duchess of Sussex’s first royal baby shower in New York City was fancy. Her closest friends, including Serena Williams, Amal Clooney, and Gayle King, were there.
It was held at a penthouse at the Mark Hotel in the Upper East Side. Now, as the royal baby’s late April due date is rapidly approaching, Meghan Markle’s second baby shower is reportedly coming up.
According to many reports, the mother-to-be’s mother, Doria Ragland is expected to fly in for the United Kingdom baby shower. It was also previously reported that the event might be hosted by the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate, which sounds nice.

Many reports also claim that only a handful of the Duchess of Sussex’s friends, including Victoria Beckham, will be in attendance. However, it’s unclear when exactly the shower will take place.
But, the reports say that it may be held at Buckingham Palace. That is because Meghan Markle’s new home, Frogmore Cottage is still being renovated.
Well, the main things is that baby showers are not a tradition in the U.K.
However, it’s an old tradition in United States. It’s an occasion which is fairly common. In fact, The Royal UK’S resident British person, fashion editor-at-large and London native Dora Fung, told us:-
“More and more people are hosting baby showers in United Kingdom these days. However, it’s been a new thing that has just stated in the last few years”. So in that case, a small affair in the U.K. sounds lovely and appropriate.
