Queen Elizabeth gives rare emotional speech at Prince Charles’ 70th birthday party.

Prince Charles celebrated his 70th birthday in style, complete with a toast from his mother, Queen Elizabeth. He celebrated his birthday at Buckingham Palace.

Her Majesty made a sweet speech praising her eldest child and heir to the throne.

It was at the party at the Buckingham Palace yesterday. People noted that she was honoured to be there to experience Prince Charles’ this milestone.

Her speech read as:-

“It is a privilege for any mother to be able to propose a toast to her son on his 70th birthday. This actually means that you have lived long enough to see your child grow up”.

“It is rather like, to use an analogy I am certain will find favour. Just like planting a tree and being able to live so much to watch it grow and blossom”.

She continued:-

“My mother saw me turn 70, of course. And she said that 70 is exactly the age when the number of candles on your cake exceeds the amount of breath you have to blow them out”.

“Over his 70 years, Philip and I have seen Charles become a champion of conservation and a great charitable leader. He is a dedicated and respected heir to the throne.

“And of course, a wonderful father. Most of all, sustained by his wife Camilla, he is his own man. He is passionate and creative. So this toast is to wish a happy birthday to my son”.
