Queen Elizabeth has reigned for 70 years and she has had some stunning outfits that have captured the attention of people all over the world.
Here, we have a list of the iconic style moments of Queen Elizabeth.
The wedding dress, 1947: On 20th November 1947, the Queen married Prince Philip in Westminster Abbey. She wore a stunning flowing gown designed by British designer Norman Hartnell. Her wedding dress was covered in embroidery and had a satin sheen. It gave the dress a glamorous but sophisticated finish. The dress had a high neckline, long sleeves and a tailored bodice.
The coronation dress, 1953: Norman Hartnell was the one who designed Queen Elizabeth’s coronation gown. This one is the most famous dress she has ever worn. The gown was silk, as requested by Her Majesty. It featured intricate embroidery similar to her wedding dress. This dress has floral emblems of the countries of the United Kingdom. This dress also had the floral emblems of the other states within the Commonwealth.

In all, it took eight months of research and design to make the Coronation gown. On Coronation day, the Queen wore her lavish gown with the impressive St. Edward’s Crown.

New Zealand visit, 1977: Not all of Her Majesty’s most fashionable outfits are glamorous. During a state visit to New Zealand, she captured the attention of many when she proved that daytime ensembles could be just as stylish.
The Queen wore a short-sleeved white and blue pleated dress with a criss-cross pattern. She paired it with short white gloves, sunglasses and a turban-style hat.
Golden wedding anniversary, 1999: To celebrate her 50th wedding anniversary with Prince Philip, Queen Elizabeth wore a pretty golden evening gown. Made from glimmering satin and featuring intricate embroidery, this dress was perfect for the occasion.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s wedding, 2011: The Queen looked radiant at the wedding of her eldest grandson, William. She wore a fabulous pale yellow ensemble that suited the occasion perfectly.
Her yellow outfit was paired with a yellow hat, sparkling brooch and a necklace. To finish off her look, she chose her favourite Launer handbag which is apparently worth just under £2,000.
