Royal baby IMMINENT: Queen has dropped a major hint as she prepares for the new arrival.

Baby Sussex’s arrival appears to be imminent. As Her Majesty cleared her diary to awaits for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s first child.

Queen Elizabeth may have given a huge clue to the Duchess of Sussex’s due date after blocking out her diary from today until May 3.

It is when she will be in Windsor to present a service of the Royal Victorian Order at St George’s Chapel. The church, in the grounds of Windsor Castle, is the same venue Meghan and Harry married last year. Keeping close to the parents-to-be in their Frogmore Cottage home suggests the royal baby will have been born by then.

The exact due date of the baby has never been revealed by Kensington Palace.

But the Duchess shared some details regarding her pregnancy during a royal engagement in mid-January. That led many to think the baby will be due by the end of this month. During a visit to Birkenhead in Wirral, Meghan told fans she was six months pregnant and that she would be expecting her baby at the end of April or the beginning of May.

If Harry and Meghan’s baby had arrived on Easter Sunday, they would have shared their birthday with the Queen. As she just celebrated her 93rd birthday. But, if the baby were to arrive later, they may end up sharing their birthday with Princess Charlotte. She was born on May 2, 2015.

What if the baby comes much later than expected?

Well, if this were to happen, Her Majesty may not get the chance to meet her newest grandchild for days. Ad she has a diary packed with engagements throughout the month of May. The 93-year-old monarch has eight official engagements to attend between May 3 and May 29. Most of them are to be carried out in London.

This means that the monarch may not have the time to fly in and out of Frogmore Cottage. On May 7, the Queen will give a luncheon for members of the Order of Merit. On May 15, she is set to host a garden party and on May 20, she will visit the Chelsea Flower Show.

The last days of May will see the Queen being busy almost every day.

On May 22, the monarch will visit the London Borough of Westminster. And the day after she will be in the borough of Hillingdon. On May 29, the Queen is set to host another garden party.

Meghan has built a solid relationship with Queen Elizabeth since joining the royal family. And it is thought that the couple’s decision to hold their wedding in Windsor was partly due to Prince Harry wanting to remain close to his grandmother.
