The Queen of Great Britain, Queen Elizabeth, is “very sad” that she has “barely seen” her great-grandson, baby Archie.
Queen Elizabeth won’t be able to spend much time with him after the Megxit saga.
Queen Elizabeth first met Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s baby two days after he was born. Since then, she has seen him only a few numbers of time, The Sunday Times of London reported. It even included missing him for the holidays during their extended break in Canada. The Queen has not seen him once so far this year, the UK paper said.
The scarcity of quality time with her great-grandson has been one of the most difficult parts for Queen Elizabeth. It was also reported the Queen was reluctant mainly because of this reason before granting Prince Harry and Meghan Markle their requested independence to spend more time away from the UK.

“Queen Elizabeth will be very sad to have barely seen Archie. Further adding to the woes, he will miss out on growing up with his cousins and wider family,” a source close to the Queen told The Sunday Times.
The Sun has previously reported that Archie’s cousins — Prince William’s kids Prince George, Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte — have only met their baby cousin twice since his birth.
Prince Harry’s dad and heir-to-the-throne, Prince Charles, completely enjoys his role as “Grandpa Wales” to William’s kids. But now, he is said to be dejected at the possibility of missing out on the same bond with Archie.
“Where will Archie’s heritage and roots be? What about the Princess of Wales, Diana’s family, the Spencers? Prince Harry and Prince William know all too well how damaging an unsettled childhood can be,” said a Palace official.
