Meghan in a recent interview has revealed that she likes to combine intense vinyasa yoga classes, with running and Pilates classes. Talking to Women’s Health UK, she said: “My mother was a yoga instructor so that practice is in my blood. I love an intense vinyasa class. And even better if it’s blasting hip-hop and is done in a dark room with a candlelight”.
“Running has always been my form of moving meditation. This, in particular, I relish because it allows me to get out of my head. You keep coming back for several reasons to such classes. Why? First off, your body changes immediately. Give it about two classes and you will see a difference. Secondly, Heather, an instructor there is amazing”.
How are Pilates classes actually done?
Pilates Platinum classes are all done on a ‘Mega-former’. It is essentially a traditional reformer machine with a few added modcons to increase your intensity of movements and the level of resistance on your muscles.
Interested? Well, for now, Meghan’s class hasn’t yet made its way over to the British soil. But, the Mega-former has. And you can actually go and try it at London’s Studio, ‘Lagree’. It has about three locations around the city.
