Meghan Markle’s royal wedding wardrobe costed $28,680. So, who was footing the bill?

Being famous isn’t an easy task. There is a long list of things that are to be kept in mind. For starters, how about your wardrobe?

But, to look good, you need to buy clothes that are super expensive.

In her first nine official public engagements with Prince Harry, Meghan has worn over $28,688 worth of clothes. Her Christmas service outfit was a whopping $10,000 alone.

But, who is dropping their credit card at the Kensington Palace for all these different and expensive attires? Ever imagined, who it might be? The Queen? Well, we have an answer for you just right here.

Turns out, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have bought these clothes themselves.

Even the royals do not accept designer clothes for free. Just like Kate, Meghan also cannot buy her wardrobe with the money that Prince Charles gives Prince William, Kate and Prince Harry from his $28 million Duchy of Cornwall income.

According to some reports, last year, the three royals, William, Kate and Harry drew from a fund of about $4.8 million to cover up their public life expenses, including salary and office costs. Meghan will be able to use these funds after the wedding.

But, Meghan Markle isn’t necessarily shopping for her clothes herself.

She most certainly has an assistant, like Kate Middleton does. The assistant calls in several options from designers. Then, Kate’s assistant, Natasha Archer will return outfits the Duchess of Cambridge doesn’t wear, and the family will pay for the one she does.

According to our researches, Meghan earned an estimated $50,000 per episode at the end of her Suits contract. Her annual salary, with some more income from film roles, is about $450,000 per year.

Meghan’s soon-to-be husband, Prince Harry conversely is worth about $25 million at the very least. Also, it is just a conservative estimate. Chances are that he has a lot more than this.

Here’s a breakdown of what her wardrobe has cost so far from the prices that were available to us.
