Nearly a year after news of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s relationship broke, Markle is observed to be opening up about her boyfriend, Prince Harry, for the first time in Vanity Fair’s October issue.
While their indeed Royal romance is constantly on the move and in the spotlight, the American Suits actress explained that her relationship with Harry is actually quite simple.
“We’re two honest people who are really happy and very much in love”. I and Harry were very quietly dating for about six months before it became breaking news.
So, I was working during that whole time, and that only and only thing that changed was people’s perception. Nothing at all about me changed. I’m still the same person with the same attribute that I was before. Not to forget, I’ve never defined myself by my relationship”.

While it’s obvious that the Royal duo is very much happy together, they have still faced a few struggles along the way. That particularly has to do with the media. Not long time after their Royal relationship was confirmed, Prince Harry defended Meghan Markle against the “racist and sexist” trolls in a public statement. That too via the Kensington Palace’s Twitter account.
“All this has its own challenges, and it comes in waves not all at once. Some days it feels more challenging than others. She also said about the constant public scrutiny that comes with dating a Royal.

“Right out of the gate it was surprising the way things changed for me. But then, I still have this support system all around me, and, of course, my dear boyfriend’s support. I don’t actually read any press comments and reports. I haven’t even read press for my show, Suits. All those people who are close to me and cares for me anchor me in knowing who I am in real. All the rest is utter noise and nothing else”.
