Reports emerged that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who are expecting their first child in April, “won’t impose stereotypes” on their baby.
However, according to The Sun, Kensington Palace have now denied this case. So, why are all these rumours taking it’s rounds again and again?
A statement released by the Kensington Palace said: “This story is totally false”. An insider reportedly close to the royal couple said that Meghan told her guests about her and Harry’s plans to raise their child at her recent baby shower in New York City. They told Vanity Fair that she was talking openly about it.
The insider close to Harry and Meghan said:-
“The Duchess of Sussex has been talking to some of her friends about the birth. Not only this, but also about how she and Harry plan to raise their baby”.

“Her exact word was fluid. She said they plan to raise their child with a fluid approach to gender. And, they won’t be imposing any stereotypes”.
The news comes after hints about the baby’s gender broke in the media in the past week.

Images from the Duchess of Sussex’s baby shower showed pastel pink treats being served. It suggested that the baby was a girl. But contrasting reports stated that Meghan Markle told her friends at the shower that she was having a boy.

Meghan Markle had flown from London to New York on February 15 for a few days. It was mainly for rest, shopping and good food with some of her closest friends. And, of course, for the baby shower.
A source told BAZAAR.com:-
“The trip to New York City was indeed a lovely chance to catch up with her friends. It was also a opportunity for her to spend time in a city she truly loves”.
“Well, this was probably the last time a lot of Meghan’s friends saw her. That is, of course, until after her and Prince Harry’s baby is born. So, for her, it was quite nice and important to share some precious moments”.
