The Cambridge family of five have had a relatable parenting moment. And this time while shopping for Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s new school shoes.
Looks like Kate Middleton isn’t immune to the occasional parenting fail.
According to some recent reports, the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate took her two kids, Prince George and Princess Charlotte to buy some new school shoes at a London store a couple of weeks ago.
But, the 36-year-old royal made a rookie error.
Although, seeing it practically, every parent can relate to it, by forgetting to pack a pair of socks for her little ones to change into. Prince George and Princess Charlotte were seen wearing sandals and no socks during the British heatwave.
And they had to borrow a pair each in order to try on their new school shoes. This week, Charlotte will return to Willcocks Nursery School and George will go back to Thomas’s Battersea.
Despite the drama, it seems they’ll be heading back to the classroom in some shiny new shoes.
Meantime, it’s been revealed that Kensington Palace won’t be releasing any pictures of Prince George as he returns to the classroom this September.
It is going to be a big day for the future king, but his parents, William and Kate are planning to mark it away from the public eye. According to a recent reports:-
“Prince George’s time at school is private and although the Duke and Duchess shared an image from his first day at primary school last year, they won’t do it every year”.
Kate and William are following royal tradition.
They are following the tradition with their choice to keep George’s school days separate from his public life. There are only a handful of photos of William and his brother, Harry in their uniforms.
But we imagine we’ll be seeing George soon enough, when he attends Princess Eugenie’s wedding to Jack Brooksbank on October 12. In the meantime, he’ll be taking up a few new subjects as he settles into Year One.
