Prince Charles may be the future king of England, but it’s no secret it was his ex-wife, Princess Diana, who captivated the masses.
The Prince of Wales soon realised the fact that Diana’s popularity was increasingly growing.
Princess Diana quickly became one of the most photographed people in the world. And her husband, Charles couldn’t help but feel overshadowed.
Lady Elizabeth Anson, Queen Elizabeth II’s cousin, gave an interview saying:-
“Diana sort of metamorphosed into a very, very elegant blonde beauty. They did a visit to Wales which was the beginning of, for Charles, realising, they’ve come out to see my wife, they haven’t come out to see me”.
But according some other reports and one author, Charles’s jealously didn’t end with Diana’s fame.
