Finally, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are now, the official royal couple. Now, they are married and celebrating their big day with their family and friends.
The royal wedding day is not even over yet, and the speculations and comparison have already geared up.
Recently, a body-language expert revealed why their smooch is one for the ages. Although Prince William and Prince Harry are both married up, the king-to-be and his younger brother kissed their royal brides differently.
We have the comparison below:-
Meghan and Harry’s kiss was outside St George’s Chapel.
Mr Cobb says: “Harry licked his lips, it’s an anticipatory gesture, right before he goes in for his first kiss as a married couple. Even though both, Harry and Meghan stand shoulder to shoulder, Harry really leans in to kiss his bride”.
“And Meghan turns her body toward Harry to accept his kiss. It was as if their bodies like magnets drawing them toward each other. The newlyweds close their eyes to enjoy their prolonged kiss. Though, Harry’s eyes lingered on Meghan before he closes them”.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Kate and William’s kiss was on the balcony of Buckingham Palace.
Mr Cobb says: “Well, if we look at William and Kate, on their royal wedding day stood shoulder to shoulder, and Prince William leaned in to place a kiss on his bride’s lips. Their lips touch for a brief second, and their eyes aren’t completely closed”.
“You might be surprised to know, but all this indicates a lot. It indicates that it’s more of a formal kiss, which is typical PDA for this royal couple. They also open their eyes at different moments”.
“Well, this, in particular, signals a disconnect or that Kate Middleton was shy or embarrassed. After the kiss, Kate could be seen giggling then immediately turning to face the crowd”.
Though, William and Kate still had big genuine smiles on their faces after the smooch.
Well, now it should come as no surprise that Harry and Meghan’s kiss was more intimate than William and Kate’s. We have often observed that Harry and Meghan always seem to be more comfortable showing PDA. Whereas, William and Kate have traditionally been more reserved and formal.
