Prince Harry creates royal history. Queen Elizabeth is surprised.


A new poll has found that the Duke of Sussex, Harry is the most popular royal within the British public. He ranks first, even ahead of Her Majesty.

Around 77 per cent of Britons have a positive opinion of Prince Harry.

Prince Harry, who is sixth in line to the throne, is followed by the Queen who is in second place with 74 per cent, and Prince William, who is third with 73 per cent.

Harry has done a lot of things to be the favourite royal.

The Duke of Sussex is described by his fans as admirable, likeable, humorous, fun-loving and genuine. Prince Charles, who celebrates his 70th birthday this week, is in seventh position.

Less than half of the nation, about 48 per cent have a positive opinion of the heir to the throne. Charles is even behind his daughters-in-law, Kate and Meghan and his father, Prince Philip too.

The ranking as a shock to many.

Kate Middleton is fourth with 64 per cent, Prince Philip is fifth with 56 per cent and Meghan is in sixth place with 55 per cent. Camilla is in 10th place with 29 per cent of people having a positive opinion of Camilla. 

According to the survey, Prince William is even more famous than his grandmother. 99 per cent of those quizzed, have heard of William, compared to 98 per cent for the Queen.
