Prince Harry reportedly made a huge sacrifice when his brother, Prince William proposed to Kate Middleton.Â
According to reports, Kate Middleton was already developing a friendship with Prince Harry too. At that time, it came as quite as a shock when William gave Kate his late mother, Diana’s sapphire and diamond engagement ring. That engagement ring was previously in Prince Harry’s possession.
After their mother, Princess Diana’s death, quite a number of her personal items were stored for historical purposes. But her sons chose some special “keepsake” items from her belongings in Kensington Palace. Prince Harry was the one to choose her ring.

“Both, William and Harry had an agreement that whoever got engaged first would have Diana’s ring. Then, of course, that was William and Kate.”

The rumours were that Prince Harry was keeping that ring for his Royal engagement to Meghan Markle. According to the reports, Harry would transform a “Royal Piece” of his mother’s jewellery into a Royal diamond ring.
This Royal couple has indeed been smitten from the beginning. The Suits actress, Meghan Markle has even been making moves in her personal life so as to accommodate a potential royal proposal.
