Meghan Markle and Princess Diana may never have met, but it turns out they do have one curious hobby in common. It’s something both the women were fond of.
Both of them were big advocates of handwritten letters.
Meghan wrote about her fondness for handwritten notes in a blog post on her former blog, ‘The Tig’. She said: “What trumps all is my love of writing and receiving a handwritten note”.
“I indeed relish it. I know my mailman’s name, I race to the door when the mail comes. They are usually just the bills and stuff. But I always hold out hope there will be a letter”.
“A sweet letter. And then I will have the tactile experience of un-creasing the paper, reciting the words and holding someone’s thoughts in my hands”.
But, Meghan Markle isn’t the only royal who loved handwritten letters.
