How Prince George and Princess Charlotte broke royal tradition on Christmas?

Despite their fancy royal titles, Prince William and Kate Middleton’s children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte are just like other children.

Why won’t they be? After all, they are just kids.

And now, it seems like their royal mother, Kate even allowed them to bend some royal rules to provide them with an extra sense of normalcy at Christmas time.

Wondering what are we talking about?

The Mirror reports that the Duchess of Cambridge told a fan on her way to the royals’ annual church service that her kids, George and Charlotte got “up very early” on Christmas morning to open their gifts.

However, unwrapping gifts on Christmas Day is a break in the royal tradition. It’s known that the royals open their presents on Christmas Eve given Her Majesty’s German ancestry.

Former royal chef, Darren McGrady told in an interview in the year 2016:-

“The royals are of German descent. So, they weave in German traditions to their celebrations. After their afternoon tea, they open gifts on Christmas Eve. Its the same as the German tradition”.

On Tuesday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, William and Kate attended church service in Norfolk without their three little ones.

The three little ones participated in the holiday custom two years ago. It was when they were in Buckleberry, Berkshire with the Middleton’s.

However, this year, there was no sign of them. Maybe this year, they were too busy breaking and playing with their new toys. Can you blame them?
