Pippa Middleton and James Matthews welcomed a baby boy in October this year. But, his name was kept under wraps until now.
However, Pippa Middleton’s baby boy’s name has finally been revealed.
According to Duchess of Cambridge, Kate, the couple decided on Arthur as a name for their firstborn with the news circulating today. According to The Mail on Sunday, his full name is thought to be Arthur Michael William Matthews.
The choice of the name Michael has special significance.
As James’ brother, Michael was aged 22 when he disappeared during a Mount Everest expedition. Spencer Matthews and Vogue Williams also chose this as a middle name for their son, Theodore.
Michael is also the name of Kate and Pippa’s father. And it’s clear that it’s a very special name in both families which is why many predicted they would choose it for the baby’s first name.
Arthur was born in the Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital on 15 October.
