Why Duchess Kate might not attend Princess Eugenie’s royal wedding?

Princess Eugenie is due to marry in October in an event that will likely see the whole royal family all together. But, Kate Middleton might not attend the wedding.

Princess Eugenie will walk down the same aisle Meghan Markle walked down in May.

According to some recent reports, while this time the Duchess of Sussex will be watching from a pew, one person who could be noticeably absent is Kate Middleton.

Princess Eugenie is set to marry Jack Brooksbank on October 12 at St. George’s Chapel.

Now, you might be wondering about the possible reason for Kate not attending the wedding? Well earlier, Prince William and Kate were expected to witness the nuptials.

But, according to some recent reports, Eugenie’s wedding could clash with Pippa Middleton’s due date. She is expecting her first child with husband James Matthews and she’s in her second trimester.

This means she’s likely to have the baby in October.

Pippa’s exact due date hasn’t been confirmed, but if she does go into labour it’s expected Kate will want to be by her side. When Kate gave birth to Prince Louis, Pippa was spotted driving to Kensington Palace the very next day.

Last month, it was revealed that Eugenie would be having a similar guest list to Meghan and Harry. Some celebrity faces in the list will include Robbie Williams and wife Ayda, as well as George and Amal Clooney.

Princess Eugenie also seems to have taken some tips from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s wedding.

The soon-to-be royal bride is also inviting 1200 members of the public into the grounds of Windsor Castle on her special day.
