Camilla Parker says even the royal family wasn’t sure how Harry and Meghan’s wedding would go.

It has been two months since the royal wedding. Still, people are gossiping about the wedding. And, to our surprise, one of the royals is talking about it too.

It’s none other than, the Duchess of Cornwall.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s wedding went off without a hitch. It was much of a relief for the royal family, who, like the rest of the world, was anticipating more drama to unfold in light of the Thomas Markle controversy.

During a recent interview, Camilla spoke about Prince Harry’s uplifting wedding and hinted that the palace was as shocked as the rest of us by all the pre-wedding tumult that came courtesy of Meghan’s immediate family.

During the interview, Camilla Parker Bowles said:-

“It was such a lovely day. Thankfully, everything went right. We all wondered whatever would happen next and then everything went right. The only thing is that we are all losing our voices now”.

“It’s nice to have something that is uplifting and not depressing. Things were just perfect. And that most importantly included the weather, which couldn’t have been better. It was truly a beautiful day”.

The Duchess of Cornwall’s interview was echoed with a report that the royal family had been completely blindsided.

And, this was due to Thomas Markle’s decision. The palace also released a statement about the matter, saying: “This is a deeply personal moment for Ms. Markle in the days before her wedding”.

“She and Prince Harry ask again for understanding and respect to be extended to Mr. Markle in this difficult situation”.

Then some time later, the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan ultimately released a statement herself, confirming that her father wasn’t attending her wedding.

In the end, the wedding ran as smoothly as possible.

It was indeed a joyous affair for all involved. And, recently, things have been more settling for the new royal bride. A few days ago, the newlyweds were on their official state visit to Ireland.
