Archie

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor was born on May 6, 2019, and today he’s celebrating his first birthday.

The couple shared a special video to mark their son Archie Harrison’s first birthday on Wednesday 6 May.

The very cute and adorable video clip was posted on Save the Children’s Instagram page. It shows Meghan Markle reading one of Archie’s favourite books, Duck! Rabbit! Yes, it’s his favourite book. While Meghan Markle is dressed completely in a blue shirt with Archie on her lap, Harry is behind the camera, capturing the lovely family moment.

The Sussexes have been taking part in the charity’s Save the Stories campaign in the UK and the US. This campaign helps bring much-needed support to children especially who have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. In the United Kingdom, all money raised will benefit the organisation Save the Children UK. The charity has placed an emergency programme to make sure the most vulnerable families can purchase basic items & food.

The Duchess sweetly revealed her nickname for her one-year-old, calling the tot “Arch” as she read him the book.

Meghan Markle looked amused and very much carefree in the birthday video. She was sporting a denim shirt. Archie was last pictured in December 2019 when Harry and Meghan shared a photo of the tot in his dad’s arms in front of a lake during their time in Canada.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were among the royals to send wishes to Prince Harry and Meghan’s son Archie on his first birthday on Wednesday.
