KLOSTERS, SWITZERLAND
Before Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate was married, they took several ski trips to Klosters, Switzerland together. It’s an amazing destination where Prince William grew up going to with his family. And you know what? It was on this trip, that William first publicly kissed Kate Middleton.
GIBRALTAR
Prince Charles and Princess Diana, took a cruise on the Royal Yacht Britannia for their honeymoon in July 1981, starting at Gibraltar. It was later revealed in some letters from Diana that she ‘caught up on sleep’ during their trip.

VERBIER, SWITZERLAND
Despite being divorced, Prince Andrew and Sarah went skiing in Verbier with their two daughters, Beatrice and Eugenie, and the family still continues to vacation here. A piece of extra information: Eugenie met her fiancee, Jack Brooksbank while visiting this ski town.

ST. TROPEZ, FRANCE
In July of 1997, Princess Diana and her two sons, William and Harry went to the south of France with Dodi Al Fayed. A little more than a month after this trip to France, Diana and Fayed got killed in a car crash in Paris.
PERTH, AUSTRALIA
Prince Charles has fondly recalled his sweet memories of early morning swims at Cottesloe Beach in Perth, Australia. It was here that a model named, Jane Priest famously kissed Prince Charles on the cheek during one of these swims.
BALMORAL, SCOTLAND
This is one of the most common places the British royal family escapes during their vacations time. It’s the Balmoral Castle in the Scottish Highlands, which was built in 1856. Here, Queen Elizabeth and her husband, Prince Philip celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary in November of 1972.

MALTA
Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip spent their honeymoon in Malta. There, Prince Philip was stationed with the Royal Navy in 1947.
